9.578 Files What is digital data and where does it go after being deleted? 9.578 Files explores trashed and lost digital data and investigates our nescient naivetˇ in handling data and its storage media. By contrast it questions the possible loss of data due to digitalization and fast developing technology.
glific reverses contemporary trends in web-based media, whereby the concept of tagging media is reflected back onto itself. Texts are translated backwords from their linguistic forms into pictographic re-interpretations. This installation refelects an interactive portion of an existing web-based project concept in which users tag words by uploading images.
space trash is an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) installation which combines aspects from VR software engineering, game design, physical interface and visual design. The application deals with floating trash in the earth’s orbit, which cause damage to satellites. The players have collaborate to collect the trash by maneuvering a spaceship and controlling a collector arm.
